BURNED BLUE
PABLO Y PABLO | CYANOTYPE MURAL | 8' X 30'
ARCHITECT: HINGE STUDIO
CONTRACTOR: BMDC
PHOTOGRAPHY: BROOKE FITTS
Pablo y Pablo is a Mexican kitchen and bar located in the heart of Wallingford, Seattle. This large scale installation is made from canvas, cyanotype and an eclectic chair collection. Visible from the street, the moody mural catches the attention of passersby. The title is borrowed from a poem written by Pablo Neruda and the deep indigo colors pull from Pablo Picasso's 'blue period'.
